Winter Project

The before and after color of the crown mouldings.

Corner taping of moulding. 91/2 ft ceilings pose a challenge on a
ladder!

Walls were easy, the moulding was more time consumming. After this
room was finished I moved into and onto the kitchen. That room
hadn't been painted since we renovated in 1992. This time was more
difficult because at the time of renovation the painting was done
before the cabinets went in. On the plus side - the mouldings are
natural oak so no painting of trim and no crown mouldings! Now that
job is almost complete I'm always impressed with what a difference a
coat of paint makes. Next it's on the putting wainscoating up as a back
splash and chair rail!
