"Make new friends, but keep the old ones, one is silver and the other gold". I used to sing this with my classes to begin friendship club(character ed) when I was teaching. Mary and I spent Saturday and Sunday with some longtime friends, Debbie and Mark at their farm in Cattaraugus County. Our children are the same in number and ages. We used to get together often but now we only see them maybe once a year. Even so, we easily fell back into a comfortable state with them. Oh, the little things in life are really the big things!
